Sunil Singhal, MD, FACS, is the William Maul Measey Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery, and the Vice Chair for Translational Research for the Department of Surgery. He leads a translational immunology and molecular imaging program at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been continuously funded from the NIH since 2008 and has been principal investigator of $24 million over that time.
